Actual project work — migrations, assessments, dashboards, or fractional architecture retainers — is governed by a separate, signed Statement of Work (SOW) or engagement letter, which takes precedence over anything described on this website. Pricing shown on this site (e.g., Quick Start Packages) is indicative and confirmed in writing before work begins.
Every client engagement begins with a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement before any data, schema, or system access is shared. That NDA — not this website — governs confidentiality for your specific project.
Payment terms are set out in the applicable SOW. Fixed-price packages are typically invoiced with an upfront deposit and a milestone or completion payment; fractional retainers are billed monthly in advance. Late payment may pause active work until resolved.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, deliverables produced specifically for a client under a signed SOW — migrated schemas, pipelines, and documentation built for that engagement — belong to the client upon full payment. KloudOcean retains ownership of its own pre-existing tools, frameworks, and methodology (including MIKO/MigrateIQ), which may be used across engagements.
KloudOcean will perform services with reasonable professional skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that specific engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from platform outages, third-party tools, or decisions made independently of our recommendations.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Pune, Maharashtra having jurisdiction, unless a signed SOW specifies otherwise for a particular engagement.
We may update these terms occasionally; the "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes affecting active engagements will be communicated directly.
